Overview
The BCSI Library is located at the second floor of the Eugenio O. Ced building. The library houses the Office of the Librarian, Internet Room, Circulation and Reserve Section, General Reference Collection, General Collection, Fiction, Periodical Section, Filipiniana Collection, Stack Collection (the 2003 and below collections), and Student’s Thesis. The library is open for service from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday to Friday and Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The library can be open on Sunday upon request. The library is headed by a registered librarian and assisted by one (1) paraprofessional staff. The collection consists of books, periodicals, and electronic resources.

LIBRARY GENERAL RULES
- • Users are required to use the Discussion Room for group study and discussions only.
- • The discussion room can be reserved for a maximum of two hours. Please refrain from loud or disruptive behavior when using these rooms.
- • Users must fill out the form at the circulation counter and surrender the student ID.
- • The student ID will be returned at the end of the session.
- • Use of the rooms is on a first come, first served basis. No reservations are allowed.
- • The booking period will be open every 15 minutes before the time.
- • If the room is still empty after the booking is made, the librarian has the right to cancel the booking immediately.
- • Please arrange the chairs and tables after use. Please return the key to the librarian.
- • Please ensure that the room is clean before you leave.
- • Students who fail to adhere to these rules may face sanctions.
LIBRARY COMPUTER ROOM
- 1. FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS - - Respect other computer user.
- 2. SURF SAFELY- TComputer use is intended for academic and related purposes only.
- 3. DON’T CHANGE SETTINGS - Customizing computer settings is strictly prohibited.
- 4. ONE IS TO ONE – Strictly observe ONE USER PER COMPUTER.
- 5. NO FOOD AND DRINKS ALLOWED – Eating inside the computer room is strictly prohibited.
- 6. OBSERVE SILENCE - Loud laughter and other unnecessary noise disturb the readers and MUST therefore be avoided. Talking out of necessity must be done in subdued tone.
- • If the room is still empty after the booking is made, the librarian has the right to cancel the booking immediately.
- • Please arrange the chairs and tables after use. Please return the key to the librarian.

DISCUSSION ROOM POLICY
- A.Library clients are required to deposit their bags except for valuable belongings.
- B. Readers are free to seek assistance from the librarian and library staff on any subject they want to research
- C. OBSERVE SILENCE. Loud laughter and other unnecessary noise disturb the readers and must therefore be avoided. Talking out of necessity must be done in a subdued tone.
- D. EATING, SMOKING, and SLEEPING are strictly prohibited inside the library.
- E. Must walk slowly and push the chair back against the table after using so it won’t obstruct the movements of others. Refrain from transferring chairs from one table to another.
- F. Handle books and other materials with care; they are intended to serve many users after you.
- G. Readers should not tear or mark books, materials, or facilities belonging to the library
- H. Return the materials in the circulation area for statistical purposes.
- I. Cellular phones and other means of electronic devices for communication should be put in a silent mode so it won’t disturb patrons
- J. KEEP THE LIBRARY ORDERLY. Your cooperation is needed to keep the library always clean and presentable by avoiding littering the tables or floor with waste
- K. Library patrons must strictly follow the Library Rules and Regulations.
